Flight A NAOP Kevin Collins and Patty Tucker of Atlanta won the Fligth ANAOP at the spring NABC in Cincinnati while the two other pairs from District 7, Bob Heller (Decatur GA)-Emory Whitaker (Macon GA) and Richard Brown (Easly SC)-Wayne Hollingsworth ( Irmo SC) finished in the overalls. How about this? MABC Pair Wins Flight B NAOP After a MABC pair won the Flight A NAOP another MABC pair won the Flight B NAOP - Hal Hindman of Fairfax VA and Mark Chen of Falls Church VA of District Six topped the field by a big margin. In addition MABC players did well in the Flight C NAOP with three pairs in the top 10 and a total of six pairs who placed in the overalls in the two events. Click here for more details. |

Ann Hedden Hero At Spring NABC Ann Hedden (Watkinsville GA) was a hero at the Spring NABC in Cincinnati where she probably saved the life of a fellow bridge player. Ann, a nurse at Athens (Georgia) Regional Hospital came upon a player in medical trouble and was able to determine the cause of the problem and help correct it. The Wednesday, March 16 issue of the NABC Bulletin contains a detailed story.
