BRIDGEATSCHOOLS SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT AT CLUBS
August 23-29, 2004
Dear Club Manager,
BridgeAtSchools, a 501(3)c nonprofit school bridge organization invites you to
participate in its fund raiser. This silverpoint bonanza begins on Monday August 23 and continues through Sunday August 29.
We look forward to welcoming your club and
your players to this STaC.
Each pair session of this tournament is a distinct event, with its own overall awards across all of the clubs
participating in that session. All pair sessions are stratified A=1000+, B=300-1000, C=0-300.
Because so many clubs participate, the first
overall awards for many pair games will reach 15 to 20 masterpoints, first overall for B often will be greater than 10 points, and for C
greater than 5 points. There really is a good chance for your players to earn a bushel of silver points since parts or all of 9
different districts are participating.
We urge you to include your regular novice an
intermediate games as part of this tournament. These players appreciate being part of the event. Any regularly scheduled
limited masterpoint session that your club holds may become a part of the STaC.
